NAPCO (or we or us or our) recognizes that privacy is important when using the Web for communications. We want to thank you for visiting and/or its associated web pages (“Website”). We appreciate you considering NAPCO for your next project and invite you to browse the Website at length to learn more about our products. Please note, this Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, store, use and share personal information and information about your visits to the network, including the pages you view, the links you click and other actions taken in connection with any Website with the domain which is owned by NAPCO.  For the purposes of this Policy, we may include from time to time any subsidiary corporations, successors and assigns.

Personal information is information from which you can be personally identified, such as your name, address, email address, or telephone number, and demographic or other information about you when such information is tied to personally identifiable information. Personal information does not include "aggregate" information, which is data we collect about the use of the Website or about a group or category of products, services or users, from which individual identities or other personal information has been removed.

It is important that you read and understand this Policy. You must accept all the terms and conditions of this Policy and the Usage Agreement (“Agreement”) before accessing any service provided on, through or by the Website ("Services"). If you do not accept the terms and conditions of this Policy and Agreement, then you cannot access the Services.  Use of our Website is predicated upon your understanding of and agreement to abide by the terms and conditions included in our Agreement which is incorporated herein by reference. Use of the Website, including downloading of any information, text, graphics, software, links or other items contained in the Website, (“Materials”) wherefrom, will be construed as your acceptance of that Agreement.

NAPCO may update this Policy at any time. Unless stated otherwise, our current Policy applies to all personal information that we have about you and this policy in no way restricts or limits our collection and use of aggregate information.

Minors under the age of 18 years old are not eligible to use the Website and we therefore ask that minors do not submit any personal information to us or use any of the services provided on, through or by the Website.
We are dedicated to protecting the privacy of the users of the Website and, accordingly, have developed this Policy. We will endeavor to preserve the privacy of your information that is not publicly posted on the Website, and use it only as set forth herein. This Policy is intended to protect individuals, and does not apply to businesses or persons acting on behalf of businesses.



Under California law, customers who are California residents are entitled to annually request and obtain information about the personal information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing. If applicable, the information would include the categories of personal information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared personal information for the immediately prior calendar year. Please note that not all information sharing is covered under the California law, and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.



3.1 Personal Information

When you visit the Website, we automatically gather information that allows the Website to communicate with your computer during the visit and we track information such as the date and time you visit, the number of visits to the Website, which parts of the Website you visit, your computer’s IP address (the Internet address assigned to your computer from your Internet Service Provider) and web browser type. Such information can be used to help us design and administer the Website. You cannot be personally identified by this type of data. We may also collect certain information you voluntarily provide to us which may contain personal information. For example, a form submission where your personal information is needed to respond to your request. This process requires you to provide certain personal information such as your name, email address, telephone number, company name and job title, the type of information by which you can be personally identified. If you register for an account with us, post a resume, create an account/profile using our platform, you choose to give us your personal information (e.g., name, email address, street address, phone number, mobile telephone number,) and are not anonymous to us. Registered members can review and change personal information at any time by accessing their accounts on the Website. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, such information will be used for the purposes specified, implied by or which otherwise logically flow from the nature of the location(s) where such information is provided by you and/or the nature of the information provided. We do not distribute or sell personal information to third parties for the purpose of allowing them to market their products and services to you and, as detailed in the “Communications from NAPCO - Opt-In / Opt-Out” section, we will remove your personal information from our database at your request. NAPCO does not seek any private information from you (e.g., health status, race or ethnicity, marital status, criminal record) unless legally required to do so, for example, in connection with recruiting. If you choose to provide such information, by doing so you provide us your consent to use that data in the ways expressly described at the location(s) where such information is provided by you and as otherwise provided in this Agreement.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the preceding paragraphs, we may disclose your personal information to third parties assisting us in carrying out a transaction or providing a service you requested, such as delivering purchases or processing order transactions. Additionally, we may disclose specific information (such as identity and contact information) if we believe that such disclosure is necessary or desirable to: (i) fulfill legal or regulatory requirements, (ii) protect our rights or those of others, (iii) prevent or mitigate harm or damage of any kind or nature, (iv) address abusive practices related to use of the Website or (v) address or seek redress for a violation of this Agreement.

If we provide you with the opportunity to give us feedback regarding the Website and/or our products and services, by providing that feedback you acknowledge that it will become the property of NAPCO and that we may use that feedback for marketing or other purposes, and, if your contact information is provided, that we may, but are not obligated to, contact you for further feedback. 


3.2 Information from Children

The Website contains information that may be of interest to children, but we do not seek through the Website to gather personal information from or about minors under the age of 18 years old. We are committed to complying with applicable laws and requirements, such as the United States' Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).


3.3 Third Party Links

We sometimes agree to work with other parties (“Third Party Providers”) to, for example, promote their goods and services on the Website or to provide certain hosting services to NAPCO so that we may better serve our Website visitors. The Website contains links to these Third Party Providers’ websites. These Third Party Providers may or may not request information from you. If you interact with these Third Party Providers, they may collect information from you and/or store information on your computer (see discussion of “Cookies,” below), processes over which we have no control. We are not responsible for the Materials or the privacy practices, policies, reliability, operations or quality of Third Party Providers’ websites. The parties at these linked websites are under no duty to abide by the NAPCO Privacy Policy. We provide these links as a convenience, and the inclusion of such links does not constitute or imply any affiliation with or sponsorship of the linked website on the part NAPCO. We expressly disclaim all liability arising from your access of and for the content contained within or through any such third party website, and likewise disclaim all warranties, express or implied, with respect to the same. We recommend that you read the privacy policy of every website that asks you to volunteer personal information, particularly when you leave the Website (which might, for example, be indicated by “” no longer being the first part of the website address in the address box of your web browser). Our commitment and obligation under this Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by our Website. 


3.4 Cookies

In common with standard industry practice, we use cookies to track Website usage. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is placed on the hard disk of your computer by a Web page server, enabling the Web server to identify your web browser and passively track its activities on that Website. This feature improves efficiency by permitting the Website to retain information such as the Website pages you last visited, which it can then access on subsequent visits so, for example, you do not need to re-input your information. Cookies do not contain any executable code and cannot be used for infecting your computer with a virus. You may encounter tracking technologies/cookies from our third party service providers, that we have allowed on our Site that assist us with various aspects of our Website operations and services, such as Google Analytics. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies but usually provide the option of configuring your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is sent. You can change your settings in the preferences or options menu of your browser. If you choose to decline cookies, you may experience a decrease in functionality and certain features of our Services may not be available to you.


3.5 Web Beacons

Web beacons, sometimes called single-pixel GIFs, are small electronic image files that we may place on the Website Web pages and within certain email. Combined with cookies, Web beacons allow us to count the number of unique users who have visited a specific page and the number of times those pages are displayed. We can also use Web beacons to let us know how many people opened certain types of email. Information we may collect using Web beacons will be in aggregate form only and will not contain your personal information. In the event advertising is offered to third parties, these advertisers may use Web beacons in their advertisements on our Website. This enables us to compile aggregated statistics and determine the effectiveness of promotional campaigns. We do not allow Web beacons on our Website to be used by third parties to collect or access your personal information.


3.6 Log Information

When you use the Website, our servers record, in a server log, information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. Server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.


3.7 Sensitive Information

We do not seek any sensitive information from visitors to our Website, unless legally required to do so, for example, in connection with recruiting or hiring. Sensitive information includes a number of types of data relating to: race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or other similar beliefs, trade union membership, physical or mental health, sexual life or criminal record. We suggest that you do not provide sensitive information of this nature. However, if you do provide such information, we accept your explicit consent to use that data in the ways described in this Privacy Statement or in the ways described at the point where such information is disclosed.


3.8 Communications from NAPCO - Opt-In / Opt-Out

The Website provides you the opportunity to register to receive communications from us and our Third Party Providers.  Absent your affirmative opt-in, you should not receive any communications from NAPCO as a result of your use of the Website. If after opting-in, you choose to no longer receive communications from us or our Third Party Providers, please follow the unsubscribe procedures in the subject communication(s) to opt-out. We will endeavor to remove you from the distribution list for the subject communications as soon as reasonably possible.


3.9 User Communications  

When you send email or other communication to NAPCO or another user, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and to improve our services.


3.10 Affiliated Sites

We may offer services in connection with other Websites or suppliers. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to us in order to deliver these services. We process such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


3.11 Activity Data

When you access NAPCO Services through the Website, we may collect information about your viewing and search habits within the Services and Site ("Activity Data"). This information includes which content and advertisements you view and for how long. It may also include information about the search terms you use in searching through the Website.



4.1 Inherent Risks

Communicating via the Internet and providing information, products or services to you by other means necessarily involves your personal information passing through or being handled by third-parties. By choosing to use the Website and, even more so, by choosing to submit information via it, you acknowledge that fact and you consent to and bear all risk of the use of the Internet, including the Website, and those other necessary means of communication and/or transfer.
